So last night during the Halo 4 segment on Conan O’Brien’s show, Frankie said something that really caught my attention.
Now, I’m sure that there’s a chance that what he said might not be true at all given the context of Conan’s show and the general atmosphere of the segment, but it’s quite possible Frankie spoiled a part of the ending to Halo 4.
> There’s a moment near the end of the game where the Master Chief is about to go in a war and the last thing he’s going to see is a couple of Marines living out a real moment…
>
> You are in a massive hangar in the largest, most powerful starship Humanity has ever built…
Now, if this is true, Frank spoiled both the end of the game and the general premise of Halo 5.
We already know that there is 2 more games after 4, so the story can’t end at the end of 4.
“Master Chief is about to go in a war” Biggest spoiler in the history of spoilers. I’ve canceled my pre-order based on this shocking revelation.
What?!? Chief needs to fight something near the end of the game? Well balls… no point playing now; completely ruined the new halo trilogy already. Guess will just have to stick with multiplayer and Spartan ops.

…
I’ll admit the premise of what was mentioned on Conan was very foreseeable.
HOWEVER, the amount of detail Frankie gave to Conan regarding the scene in terms of the voice over role was unneeded. There was a lot of information that could easily have been cut out. Heck, he could have just said we want you to do a scene with two marines and have left the mode the scene was for out of it since we don’t exactly know if in Spartan Ops we’ll have friendly AI along with us.
It doesn’t exactly spoil it or most of the main parts but it is still a portion that definitely didn’t need the amount of detail that it got.
Did anyone notice the pelican in the same video - i know it was a very early build and could be a placeholder- but if you look at the pelicans they look different to the Reach ones - much wider wingspan and massive vents on either side of the cockpit - which also looks like it is separated into two parts. Any thoughts?
> Apart from the word “starship” there are no actual spoilers in that sketch. The sketch from a late night comedy talk show.
>
> Relax.
Will Conan me making an appearance as a Marine in the game though? I believe I speak for many fans when I say that the sketch was hilarious and it would be great to see something akin to that in the actual game.

I think he is going to be a marine Easter egg like RVB cast in Halo 3.

I noticed the new Pelicans too. I love how they look different enough, showing the new team’s art style, yet look enough like Pelicans for us to see one and instantly recognize what it is.
