Or did he say that that would not be in the game? Because if he said we will not be fighting the Flood, there’s a possibility we could have them as allies at a certain point in the game, similar to the one Halo 3 mission. Does anyone know exactly what he said?

He said we won’t be fighting the Flood. I suspect they will still be in the game.

And based on past events, I doubt they would be true allies. They have a tendency to backstab their “friends” when they get their way.

As I understand from Primordium, the flood are just de-evolved versions of Precursors. The Precursors present themselves to a species, and see how they deal with the Flood. The Forerunners failed, so it was humanity’s turn. I believe humanity has proved themselves worthy, so the precursors will have no reason to be hostile. I believe that this is called the reclaimer trilogy, because it is about humanity reclaiming the Forunner’s title as bearer of the mantle.

I really dont care to fight the flood, they just get in my way and bug me xP

Unless I’m mistaken, firing the Halo at the Ark wiped out the Flood. So unless someone releases them from one of the countless Forerunner structures which store Flood spores, I don’t think we’re gonna be seeing Flood in Halo 4.

Besides, it wouldn’t make a lot of sense for Flood to be on a Shield World.

Hmm I still think that’s a bit late for the series, if anything they’d be introduced in Halo 5 imo.
