Is it good? Is it super difficult? I was thinkin about gettin it.

O.o must GET NOW!
I heard it was nothing like the deep and challenging combat NG+ NG2 featured but rather took more of a cinematic approach of sort with pushover enemies you kill with one-button combos. So basically your better off re-playing/buying the older ones if you want the actual NG experience. Or better that, skip it and buy Dark Souls if you havent its the -Yoink-.
To be fair and honest, NG2 wasn’t great compared to NG1, and the ONLY thing that compares to NG: Hurricane Pack is NG: Black. Deflection may have been “cheap” but it made for the most mother -Yoinking!- awesomest kick–Yoink- gaming rush that can only be duplicated by riding a motorcycle at over 100km/hr at night through a winding country road (and it’s just been paved too!!!)
NG2 sacrificed qualtiy of gaming for simply “more” of everthing. The first playthrough of NG2 felt extremely tedious and monotonous. Weapons were really only useful when using “that one move” and that’s it.
I played NG, NG:H and NG:B over 50 times between the 3 of them. It feels great to use any weapon any time. I’d still play it if it wasn’t for the emulator causing NG1 to feel like NG2 in smoothness.

Heard it wasn’t that good.
Don’t buy it, bro.
My friend purchased the game and I watched him play through the entire story mode. Ninja Gaiden 1 & 2 took him roughly a week to complete.
Number three took him four hours, not only that but let me explai nt oyou the flaws…
They watered down the entire game, combat is incredibly repetitive now and you’re restricted to a single ninpo. You can’t use anything other than your starting weapon… And you literally do the same combo up until you get your ninpo up, and then after you unleash its hellish fury you perform your ultimate move. Over, and over again…
The story mode was utter trash compared to the other two, no crystal skulls, no scarabs, not a damn thing.
The multiplayer is decent, mind you. However, I wouldn’t call it something to keep the game over.
Ninja Gaiden 3 was an utter disappointment. The watered down mechanics and gameplay just kill it. Sure, they work on the story portion of the story mode more but not enough to be substantial.
It is by far the worst of the entire series.
