Speaking strictly on appearance obviously. There is one very noteworthy difference between the two, and some subtler ones.
But the little iron sight on the DMR in Halo Reach came back sometime between E3 and PAX, here are a couple of images to show what I mean:
E3 DMR (Side View)
PAX DMR (Side View)
Am I the only one who prefers the E3 look to the PAX look? Just those subtle difference made it look alot sleeker… More Halolike. I dunno. The DMR in Reach always bugged me to look at.
Not really ^.^
The newer version seems… blacker. And more polished, to me. And I like it more xD
Okay, I may have been wrong about the Sniper but I only see one difference and it’s not that huge.
I definitely prefer the look of the newer DMR, it looks a lot more like the one from Reach, which is a beautiful weapon.
> Okay, I may have been wrong about the Sniper but I only see one difference and it’s not that huge.
1: It’s alot darker, and the weapon looks more scratched up instead of polished.
2: The Iron Sight wasn’t there at E3 (my major preferred thing)
3: The UNSC emblem was less noticeable and Smaller at E3
4: There was no orange on the gun at E3, there is at PAX
Overall, in between E3 and PAX it did the opposite of the Sniper. It went from a sleek, Haloesque sci-fi weapon, into a gritty realisticesque weapon.
Kind of lame in my opinion. I FAR prefer the polished look of UNSC tech that gives it a Halo feel.
I always felt that Halo’s “look” was about sleek, smooth, polished, words I’ve thrown out a few times. and looking from Halo CE-ODST that stands VERY true. But Reach is all bumpy, and jagged, it totally doesn’t look like future tech anymore. And That’s the difference between E3 and PAX’s DMR, the extra features and detail on the skin make it look too modern.
the newer one is way more defined and polished. art tho crazy?1
OP it’s good to see them polishing the DMR and still it’s not that detailed as the BR IMO I want more details
