I wanted crossplay, more players and modding options. It will be better for Forge too. Just need a crossplay toggle to make everyone happy!

So you wanted forced crossplay? Because that’s what the post is talking about. You say you want a toggle so in reality, you don’t actually want this.
Agreed, cross play is a great but if forced can make people a little mad since it’s not really a “levelled” playing field since controller vs controller leads to the same skill ceiling and setting, same with PC, if they had toggle available that would be fantastic but sadly they don’t
Cross play is cool, forced cross play is not.
Forced cross play made me quit Fortnite.
It’s not so bad in Halo because I’m a roller player and we have a bit of an advantage over M&K for the the most part.
I just don’t like the idea of being forced to play with PC players.

There’s a lot of things I didn’t want Halo Infinite to be.
I didn’t want it to be F2P and chock full of MTX.
I didn’t want the campaign to be Far Cry lite.
I didn’t want it to launch without staple features like forge and co-op.
I didn’t want objective modes to be forced in ranked play.
I didn’t want to have to play on the same 3 or 4 mediocre looking maps ad nauseam.
You can’t pin this games failure to any one thing. 343 messed everything up.
