Did any of you guys notice this?

In the Halo 5 beta trailer you hear a Spartan-IV yell “ready, lets move!”. Well do any of you know who’s voice that is?

It’s Nathan Fillion guys! Do you think this can mean something besides him lending his voice for the trailer?

I know someone made a mention of it prior, but it is cool news nonetheless. For now, I think it may just be him lending his voice talent. But who knows, Buck and company may be Spartans now.

There is a chance that the ODSTs are now Spartans, playing in the arena. Sounds possible.

He also did the voice of Reynolds. For all you know he’s just providing the voice for generic marine #7.

Buck and pals!

Just realized something while typing this. Rookie is now Locke? Rookie DID help an ONI agent afterall. Hmm.

Yes but 343i are wanting to also please the deep Halo fans, ODST now being S IV’s is a wonderful way to do so.

I would have NEVER noticed that in a million years… good attention to detail.

Same here… sharp ears.

“If Buck was any better, he’d be a Spartan.”

He got better. O.O

I hope Buck doesn’t return. But if he does, I hope 343i doesn’t make him as plastic as he was in ODST.

I didn’t enjoy the characters in ODST that much and it kinda kills the game for me a bit. But if he returns as a spartan, I hope he would be more interesting, imo.

I somewhat heard it before but brushed it off as “Naaaaaaaaaah, couldn’t be.” I’m glad to see someone actually confirmed it.

I honestly think it’s nothing more than an easter egg right now but who knows? 343 might be going all out on Halo 5 and getting many classic faces.

Plz 343, Tim Dadabo? Plz?

Corporal Perez plz?

I’d love to see him return!

I doubt 343 is going to go that all out.

I doubt it.

You could see the Rookie’s fingers in ODST, and he was white. Locke is black, so he can’t be the Rookie.

Also, the ‘Rookie’ is meant to be you, in the Halo universe. Like you were supposed to be Noble Six.

It’s why he never gave his name or anything. Never talked. They wanted to make you as connected to the Rookie as you could.

Yeah, it is awesome that he lends his voice for the trailer, I think it would be awesome if Buck and his crew were part of the Spartan-IV program.

That’s awesome! I hope he does some voice acting for Halo 5. I would love to see Sgt. Buck and his team return.

You know, his voice could simply be there because he is a huge Halo fan and has done voice work for the franchise since Halo 3, just like many other actors who have done repeated voice work for the games (such as Alan Tudyk, Mr Fillion’s Firefly co-star who also voiced Mickey in ODST and various marines in Halo 3).

I kinda dislike blatant cameos in media because to me it makes the entire world seem that much more fake.

What if Nathan Fillion will be the announcer for Halo 5G.
