Almost every H2C and H2A game i’ve gone into, my teams been completely massacred except for a few times. My teammates seem to absolutely refuse to work together. I run solo because 1. a lot of my friends don’t have an xbox one. 2. they don’t like halo. 3. they’re playing something else. 4. they have no patience for the game. Its seems that the only way to succeed is to coordinate, my teams don’t do that. I just played a game of ricochet, they wiped the floor with us, i’m the only one who scored, and i did twice. grenades are the bane of my existence. i am constantly killed by grenades, it’s ridiculous. I seem to lose a lot more 1v1s now as well because of grenades or they shot first. The game definitely feels lopsided to one team.
That’s the problem with no ranking system or even a true skill system working under the hood. It’s pretty frustrating matching dirtyrag3348 and his two guests and going 30-0, or having them on my team and quit after going killess in the first 5 minutes.

What, that teams get put together completely unfairly
Yes, after this latest update I have been put into lots more lopsided games than normal. Maybe now that the matchmaking speed is better they can narrow the skill range back down because we don’t need a larger player pool for matchmaking times anymore…
Hopefully. This game needs the competitive community to comeback. People complained h3 didn’t cater to re casuals and look it survived for YEARS. Halo 4 was nothing but casual gaming an it died in 2 months. The way halo 2 works is with only teamwork. I’ve gone into games and gotten 30 kills and still lost, and I’ve also gone in games and went 12-5 with 9 assists and won because that’s how halo works.

I just don’t like getting my butt kicked because my teammates aren’t helping. When i’m down because of my position or weapon, my teammates are supposed to help. They simply don’t help after the patch. it didn’t feel so lopsided before the patch.
In my experience most games still aren’t even remotely balanced in terms of who you match. Played quite a bit with a few friends last night and lost 1 match, which was against people I know. Really boring walking all over the other team in pretty much every match.
