Did 343i took inspiration from insects?

Something that i noticed watching the new ViDoc about the Prometheans is that the Knight and the Watcher took some inspiration from insects and insects “moves”.

Check out this Gif: Promethean Knight.

If you notice, it really moves like an insect (those little arms at the end of the Gif is a good example of a typical Fly move).

Also the Promethean Knight seems very close to a Mantis. IMO.

Not counting that the Watchers are pretty much Butterflyes.

I’m also pretty sure that 343i said that the Crawlers are a mix of wolves and some sort of insect…but i can’t remember from what video did i hear that…

This “Insect-syle” seems to fit well BTW.

What do you think? Do you agree?

One of there art designers are from Retro, and they are the people that made Metroid Prime. Look up space pirates from Metroid Prim, look familiar?

Interesting, the Knight’s little T-rex arms distracted me from noticing this.

I find the Knights really creepy in fact. That’s, that’s just…strange.

oh i think i know what its doing! it is scanning the dead body and the mask that it is wearing is showing something about the dead human.

yeah they totally got an insect vibe going on…

but OMG those little arms! and seeing some of the concept art I finally realize how creepy the Prometheans are! they are undead half mummified little forerunners in those suits! and those little dead arms! space mummies aaaaaaaaaah
