I know it’s not the unqualified dude who wrote Halo 5, but I have not found anything on who’s the lead for Infinite. Anyone know?
I thought it was Jeff Easterling. I know Joe Staten moved from Bungie to Microsoft, he would be my choice, but I read he’s doing other things.

I read “343i lead writer” in multiple search results, but wasn’t certain if it was him since I wasn’t sure if that was referring to his update posts and the like. But if it’s him, then it should definitely be an exciting game to play
Destructoid refers to Jeff as a Halo Infinite Writer and 343 Industries Lead Writer. Not that these websites are always correct. After all, these are a group of people that do not know the difference between Open World and a Sandbox:
> ’The only BR we’re interested in is the Battle Rifle’ states Halo Infinite writer’
>
> “It also seems like the immensely popular Halo franchise is also looking elsewhere for its run ‘n; gun fun. Speaking on a Mixer live stream, 343 Industries’ lead writer Jeff Easterling - known to Halo-philes as Grim Brother One - also said that Battle Royale wasn’t currently on the agendas for the upcoming Halo Infinite.”
The narrative lead is Paul Crocker, he joined 343 back in October 2017.

Oh man, just looked him up and learned he worked on the Arkham games! This is gonna be great. I’m especially excited since I’m playing those games right now.

Indeed. I’m excited as well. Arkham games had great stories.
The guy writing Infinite also wrote Arkham City. So we’ve gone from a Marvel writer to a DC writer. It’d be great if Staten would come back to write for Halo, but 343 could’ve done a lot worse than Crocker; Arkham City is fantastic.
Edit: You already figured that out. Never mind.
I’m just glad it’s not the dude that wrote H5 cause my god he broke some cardinal rules for story telling.

It’s worth noting though that he isn’t solely responsible for the decisions made in that game.
