Also on another note I think arby and Locke aren’t fond of one another based on this. We got Locke v Chief what about Locke v Arbiter Arby article
I think this is an official article but it has a pic I’m not sure about let me know if some info is a leak then I’ll edit this some.
I think it’s cool that they’re trying to make the Elites more terrifying! And as for the Arbiter, he might just be using Locke to find Chief. Why he’d do that, I don’t know. But if the Arbiter is trying to find Chief, he has a very good reason for it.

Well Elites are actually pretty big, bigger than spartans, and I think it never really looked like they were any bigger in most games so I like it that they now really made them look like giant aliens.

To be honest they started out being pretty tall and imposing, it was only in Halo 2 and Halo 3 that they seemingly shrank due to being hunched over to try and given them similar hitboxes to Spartans.
Even then you could still see how tall they actually were in cutscenes looking at the post-Floodgate cutscene and how Rtas Vadum(half jaw) towered over everyone at the meeting.
That being said, I imagine some of it just comes down to artistic changes as I would consider the 343 era Elites to be a bit bulkier and rougher around the edges so to speak.
Well they have the size right, now they just need to stop showing Osiris killing a bunch of low level recruit level Elites like in the new trailer because those obviously weren’t even veteran level warriors.

I actually have a theory on this but I’ll make a separate post about it later, it a good theory to

Their biology basically makes them strong as -Yoink-, fast as -Yoink- and deadly as -Yoink-. It also makes them big as -Yoink-, but they kept getting scaled for multiplayer reasons. Halo Reach averted this a little; They were bigger than Spartans, were slightly faster, jumped slightly higher and their health regenerated to full without med kits. This was kinda cool but the asymmetry unbalanced multiplayer a bit, hence why only Invasion and customs had Spartan players vs Elite Players

This is the way it should stay if Elites do come back, this was my favourite iteration of the Elites some people may be upset about locking out Elites from all gametypes but I found this worked best and was the only time I ever liked playing as an Elite, plus it broke the mold from the usual everyday gamemodes.
