DICE VS 343i

I know, completely different companies for completely different games.

im just using an example, Battlefield 4. This game had one of the worst launches in gaming history, but DICE did something that 343i hasn’t. ACTUALLY LISTENED TO THE COMMUNITY. And take in mind that Battlefield 4 is a multiplatform game. BF4 is damn near perfect now

Taking technology in hand, the 360 version of Battlefield 4 receives just as many updates as the PC version so non of that. And we’re on the Xbox One now so updates should come WAY more.

If 343i wants to save Halo then they have to listen to the community and make changes happen. 343i can add armor now, so these armor requesting forums should be addressed ASAP.

i really don’t see why this is such a problem for them, I know EA doesn’t give a crap if the games flop later since they get the money right away, 343i hasn’t really shown they care much about the community. Their chance was after seeing how Halo 4 flopped

You sound very, very entitled. You are not entitled to anything and “the community” has no consensus on what they want. 343 can change what they want or not change what they want, but it’s 343 who will decide what and when. As it should be.

That’s an understatement. 343 abandoned their own forum community within the first week once players started reporting issues (broken aiming mechanics, spawn traps in SWAT, map glitches, etc.).

I belong to a lot of company created forums and it’s a great source of customer service/support. This is the first time I’ve seen a company bail out of their own.

Playing the “them vs us” game does nothing helpful. Different companies, different methods.
