for as long as i can remember before halo 4 came out he was refered to as THE diadact and as more of an object then person
however in the waypoint videos he’s simply refered to as diadact as tho it’s his name
personally i always thought it was a military title similar to general or arbitar
He is neither.
I belive that like the librarian fragment you meet. the Didact is not the same one from the novels. Apparently he used the composer to build an inorganic body and live past the firing of the Halo array. I think he is more like a rampant AI than actual forrunner.
