Dexterity = OP

Am I the only one who thinks this? It’s the only Support Upgrade I use, because without it, you’re at a significant disadvantage. They should probably lower it’s reload speed a bit, because as it stands, it seems to be the only secondary upgrade that is any good.

the one for infinite sprint, all the way.

It only comes in handy on cqc maps imo. On places like meltdown you find yourself using it a lot less, and needing the ammo perk more.

This describes my experiences accurately. I usually use the DMR on larger maps and the extra ammo is better because I can just hide if I need to reload. However, smaller maps allow me to use the Assault Rifle effectively and being able to quickly reload it makes it very deadly.

Uh…wut?

No, not really no. I don’t think any of the add-on upgrades are OP’d, because what will be useful in one situation will be pants in another. And some people will have favourites and some people will mix and match.

Doesn’t matter how fast you reload if you aim like a blind Grunt =P

Meh. Havnt seen anybody using it that had a distict advantage.

Sensor FTW!

And this perfectly describes why I am against the idea of “Perks” in Halo. It turns the game into a Rock-Paper-Scissor match, where the outcome of an encounter can be determined by what perks you have at what time.

Thruster pack on vanilla. That thing is honestly useless in my opinion. I can’t find a use for it.

I’ve not seen an issue with out without it. In those dire moments where you need a gun reloaded super fast sure, but the other perks have their advantages too.

yahuh… you know, the same thing can be said for weapon loadouts in general or even power weapons. What you’re forgetting is while one perk has advantages over another, the idea is to keep the one that gives you the most utility on a map, and greatest ability to own the competition. Do you bring an assault rifle to ragnarok? No, I didn’t think so. But if you did bring one, would you busy yourself shooting across the map?

The point is perks put emphasis on strategy, as do power weapons and loadouts.

It’s very useful for ducking around corners or changing directions fast. I haven’t yet mastered cqc with it though, but there’ve been a lot of instances where it could have come in handy if I had used it.

Its good, if it takes you a while to drop someone, or the other person sucks at aiming. If you are in a ranged battle over who can 4-burst the other quicker it doesn’t help at all.

Yes, they can. And people do complain about loadouts. It was something that was unnecessarily added to Halo. But power weapons? Come on, now you’re just reaching.
