I would like to know if halo 4 is going to have a beta for halo combat anniversary buyers or any special codes for a beta test being handed out?
I was on the kinect tester team on msconnect once but wonder about halo 4. Any 343 staff that can confirm this?
I would like to beta test it if possible to help improve this wonderful game since its going to be awesome.
Yes, i can sign NDA’s too i did some beta testing for other EA games that were popular through combat testing(EA partner that beta tests games). Combat testing members usually have to invite you or you join using their form and hope you get in.
Haven’t all Halo’s except for CE have a beta? I just hope that Halo4’s multiplayer maps are not all from campaign. Maybe if the maps in beta could have some slight changes in the official release.
They haven’t confirmed anything one way or another.
I suspect though, that if they DO do one it’ll be similar to the Battlefield 3 Beta: early access codes through pre-order or something else, then open through the marketplace.
I cant see them putting access in another game like they did for Halo 3, Reach or Gears 3.

Although you guys are right they probably wont have it till at least this fall or spring next year maybe.
That happens with microsoft unlike bungie they like to push peoples buttons and programmers limits sometimes but in a good way like to produce better game.
No there won’t be a beta coming with CEA. They’ve stated this at Halofest. Its too soon for a beta, rest assured though there will be one in the future.

Well only Halo 3 and Reach have had multiplayer Betas that were released to the public, but those were the past two Halo games to have featured competitive multiplayer so perhaps it’s a tradition now…
It will be called hostage, where enemies try to take your men hostage and keep them prisoner. I have also been thinking about an ability called surrender, If you’re out numbered you can drop your weapons or just one to fool them, this will allow you to preserve your own life in sticky situations or it can draw enemies in for a sudden attack
or suicide bomb
I am pretty sure there won’t be an actual working BETA included with CEA but I am also pretty sure that there will be a card in the CEA case that says “Halo 4 BETA” just like ODST had for Halo: Reach and you need CEA to download the BETA. Who agrees?
