I have gotten over 25 kills with the detached turret on Shatter, and the achievement isn’t unlocking for me still.
Do you have to get 20 kills with it in a SINGLE game? Because I don’t think that is possible.
Make sure your in Crimson MM lobby, and not slayer or such. The cheevo’s list it as required iirc.
I have been playing Crimson DLC playlist for sometime now. I got 20 kills with it already, even more than that and I don’t understand why it hasn’t unlocked.

On a serious note, I’d expect it to be fixed soon, probably next playlist update… The ODST achievement is glitched as well

Sorry, it was just a joke directed at the fact that Murphy’s Law seems to have Halo 4 in it’s grip. I’ve edited my above post with some proper info 
Wow, nevermind! Apparently, when I hit my 30th kill with it I got the achievement. Either 343 made a typo or my first 10 kills didn’t count for some reason.
People have been getting achievements for stuff they haven’t done as well as people like you not getting stuff they HAVE done.
Let’s face it… Halo 4 is cursed!
But does anyone else think the achievements are going to pretty much grief the games as they are just STOOOPID. Special Delivery is going to have people going nuts on the man cannons. Running away from enemies to get back and try again instead of killing the enemy. Fighting over who gets on the Hog gun and hoping the driver will jump the darn thing to let the gunner kill someone.
No, these achievements are just plain poorly thought out griefers. I think I am going to stay off the Crimson maps for a while until they get the achievements done… The brief time I was on the map I saw fights over the turrets.
Just got it, worked fine. Twenty kills across several games.
Glad you got it, but looking at that again, did you get all the kills while the machine gun was “DETACHED” or just using it?
My guess is that you have to have detached the turret before the kills will count. (as that is what the descriptions states)
my friend threw a nade and got the the for man cannon
I always detach the turret when using it.
I also got the Special Delivery achievement (melee someone when landing form a man cannon) by simply melee killing two guys for a double kill.
Halo 4 achievements are voo doo.
Did you get 30 kills in one game? I am experiencing this issue and just would like to know an answer.

I dont think ODST is glitched, I was playing normally and it pooped, randomly lol.
