Hey just wondering if there’s any news on this? Started playing 3 weeks ago. Game looks good just isn’t currently playing very good at all. I’ve played halo games before that would do this sometimes but this is crazy. Seems also when I get ahead teammates start quitting. I was also booted while in a game at 36 kills 26kills and too 2 ball time then boom booted. Teammate gets booted 2 games later. Every time I get ahead I get unfairly kicked in the chops further down. That doesn’t make me want to play when I win say 5 in a row then lose 4 and am lower then before the 5.
Is there a fix coming? Does any know the situation on things. I just want to play some good old halo but it is truly hard not to get frustrated right now and I don’t want to feel that. Thanks folks
And to clarify the losses are due to people quitting a lot too
Hey, welcome to Infinite. We have had issues with this since launch. They make occasional tweaks here and there, but something like players quitting (voluntarily) isnt something they can fix. We pretty much all have the same struggles.
It’s really unfortunate because if it played like every other game online right now, it would actually be really good I feel. It’s crazy how such oversight in making it fundamentally functional is killing me from having a great experience with it. So unfortunate because when I do play it’s mostly halo but Yeash if this keeps up I may have to leave but I don’t want to, but yikes. I hope they fix this soon

Some blame the engine the game runs on. (poorly optimized?)
Some blame the team working on the game. (mostly contractors; lack of dedicated/more passionate team)
I believe this game runs on Microsoft Azure servers, can’t really be that bad, yet something is about it.
Most of us just want a game like H1-3 but those days are long gone. It almost feels like this game should get a complete overhaul but i doubt that will happen at this point. I truly wonder how much better it will get.

Yea I just got mangled by servers and internet so bad again. I may have to leave halo. It’s sad as hell. I remember my first Xbox n halo ce. Eff I can’t believe it’s come to this. Worse then blue screen of death days
The worst part of all is that it’s all fixable stuff. The technology, servers, etc are all better today then it’s ever been. It’s kinda sad, honestly. Well good luck.
