Destroying the core should reward players

Me and my team have been playing warzone and a few times we capture their armory first and then destroy the core before the first legendary boss even comes out, but it seems the amount of REQ points and XP are determined by time, so everytime we destroy their core early in the game, we only get about 1800 REQ points, Capturing all bases and destroying the core is not an easy task, the game should reward the player with more REQs and XP because of this.

Games need to last 10 minutes to make boosts worthwhile. Destroying the core is merciful but also a wasted game as far as XP and commendations.

I totally agree on this also finishing a match early should bring another xp or rec multiplyer.

Definitely, if we take all bases, my team generally makes no attempt to take out the core because they want more xp, while I am entirely focused on winning the match as fast as possible.

This makes sense, but it is fine the way it is.

This should definitely me implemented. It only makes logical sense. Why should you get less rewards for a dominating performance? The answer: you shouldn’t. I would be great if some sort of REQ and XP boost was added for just this situation.

You do get a reward. It’s called winning.

But if there was an extra reward for destroying the Core, that would be fine. Just at the bottom of the priorities list.

I agree it’s not a easy thing to do

If you destroy the core that quickly you should be rewarded with req points for home many points they are off of the 1000 which at least is a helpfully boost

If you guys are that dominating then play warzone assault. It has a better time/points ratio if you can get to the core in 6-8 minutes

req points and xp are encouraging this type of mentality. stat padding is nearly the norm now in warzone. it is rare that any team destroys the core in warzone, and i play a lot. when a team gets 3 bases they would rather just rack up kills and win that way than go for the core.

teams aren’t playing for the win, just req points, xp, and kills. destroying the core isn’t usually something teams try to do, it seems like more often the defending team just lets someone destroy their core to end the stat padding.

play the objective. killing the core is awesome. doing it quickly is much more fun and impressive than any xp or req points you get out of boosts. this isn’t a game about stats and xp points, it should be about having fun and trying to win.

Exactly why some parties are inclined to just drag the game out and slaughter the other team.

So…
Make it so you gain double the points if the core is destroyed. I find it waste of gameplay if you can’t even do that but gain points. Might just call it Warzone Slayer if we play for points.
