This is a repost of a response I gave to the post that was talking about how the controls are wonky in Halo 5 and I ended up ranting and figured it was good enough to make a topic out of:
DESTINY FEELS MORE LIKE HALO THAN HALO 5 WHEN IT COMES TO CONTROLS!!! And that is a really strange thing to say. For some reason I feel as if I should be saying of course Destiny feels more like Halo than Halo 5 but at the same time no it shouldn’t since Destiny has a more modern design where aiming down sights matters where crouch is the B button where looking around you aim where you think you should be aiming at like in all Halo games which is why Destiny is so amazing.
Halo 5 I will continue to play I will not defend 343 or Halo 5 for its shot comings. Yes advance the series, yes change things, yes give more make bigger do it up add new stuff ADS is great make it count or remove it. But for the love of Halo you gotta get first the controls right, next the level design right which counts for MP maps as well as the big open sprawling campaign maps that were by far the best in Halo 1, and third because it is important to have 3 in a list the split screen!! For crying out loud the graphics in this game are ugly they make Halo 3 graphics look better which is strange because they aren’t but yet now we can’t do split screen. No I do not use split screen that often but that IS HALO ON THE COUCH!! Split screen 2 player for campaign lower the graphics fine great make it 30 fps fine great whatever make it 2 people per console at the very least. In MP you need to have 4 player split screen even if you only allow 2 per console to go online but in all reality it should just be play list restricted when you have 4 people. Like for example no war zone because that would be too intense for 4 player split screen.
Increase the draw distance and add more consistency in the graphics. Meaning if you look at Halo 5 close up it has great graphics but for some reason a game like Destiny or Halo Reach which technically are inferior in graphics actually look way better and the same can be said with the graphic art style of Halo 4. Yes Halo 4 is technically superior to Halo Reach graphics but it looks like -Yoink- compared to Halo Reach which had the best looking Halo graphics to date. Tell me am I wrong but if Halo 5 looked like Halo reach with 60fps 1080p and some fancier effects and higher texturing/filtering would it not look better than Halo 5? Yes, it would look better and you could use an old engine to achieve that effect… Epic fail should be the name of 343 studios. Will I keep playing? Yes, will I lie about Halo because I am biased? NO I will not lie about Halo 5 problems because they are very real and very bad like the REQ system which is total garbage and they know it.

No I am not trolling and if you guys actually read the post you would know I wasn’t. So f–king stupid red it I am a fan I am bias but I will not lie about problems the game has.

You lost me when you said Destiny feels like Halo…
The game isn’t the most epic greatest halo of all time that the hype train did its best to build up… It’s just a run of the mill shooter with popular themed graphics with -Yoink!- holding The reigns of the advertising budget.
Will i keep playing? Yes… At least until Star Wars Battlefront comes out in 2 weeks.

Ironically, you pretty much described the battlefront reboot, just change a few words and you’ve pretty much perfectly described the upcoming disaster that will be EA ruining another good franchise.
As to the OP, I played Reach earlier today, and I can say with absolute certainty that its graphics are clearly worse, 1080p and 60fps would make them nicer, but ultimately wouldn’t change the fundamental gap in graphics that five years and a new console creates. And I’m honestly at a loss as to how you could possibly think destiny is more like Halo than Halo, Bungie may have made destiny, but that’s where most of the similarities end.

You are completely wrong yes Halo 5 has better graphics but you are not understanding what I am saying I am talking about the allocation of system resources in favor of what is better graphics for less artistic value or eye appeal.
Stopped reading after “destiny is so amazing”
The pvp in that game is absolute unbalanced trash pair that with it"p2p" matchmaking makes for very -Yoink- gaming experience and this is coming from someone who has 2000+ hours played beat all hard raids and gone flawlesd in trials many times destinys pvp doesn’t even compare to halo 5’s
Destiny is no where even close to halo while Halo 5 hasn’t changed everything. There’s no real reason to say that destiny feels more like halo as the games are nearly in all ways different, while Halo 4 to 5 is more of an upgrade on an already made game.
going to be honest, I stopped reading halfway through your god awful wall of text, and if you want a more “Halo” like game like Destiny, go ahead, honestly, I played that game for so damn long to hold me over till I got my Xbox one, and I hated every minute of it. Why? Because the game was so -Yoinking!- stupid, if you liked it, then fine, but saying it’s more halo like than halo 5 is basically saying that Mario kart is more of a pro racer than forza,
Destiny had something’s that brought people in and kept them in, whether it be the drops, the raids, the light levels or its awful story, but I don’t ever recall having to grind for a OP hand cannon in halo to be on par with other players at most times, if you think destiny is the true successor to halo, believe it than, play it.
ill just sit here and play a game I actually enjoy,

Blah blah blah too long didn’t read. Destiny is a great game Halo 5 is a game I like but not a great game blah blah blah you suck at life.
Borderlands feels more like Destiny than Destiny.
