I was in a match earlier today where my whole team left it was 3v1 and I only lost by 2 kills I think. I would have won if not for the fuel rod cannon I couldn’t lock down fuel rod and overshield alone. My point is when people leave the game on either side power weapons should stop spawning if you have the other team outnumbered you don’t need them and it would give the smaller team a fighting chance. Only in ranked matches of course just an idea what do you guys think?

Well of course it would but that will never happen, so why punish the ppl that actually try and stick it out in a 3v1 by getting destroyed by rockets and such every time they move the other team already has the upper hand and don’t need power weapons especially since one person has literally zero chance of getting one when there are like 3 ppl just camping the weapon spawn.

If you’d managed to push the fuel rod or the Overshield you could’ve held out a bit longer. Power weapons can make up for a lack of numbers. Its one of those things that happens, if your teammates quit, you are in for a struggle. Sometimes you’ll get lucky, most of the time you won’t.
Let’s assume your suggestion was implemented: What would prevent your team from locking down a maps weapons and one member of the other team quitting, just to put you back to ARS and pistols, thus giving them a fighting chance again?

Can you read? I was pushing overshield but since the os and fuel rod spawn within about ten seconds of each other on regret and all three others were camping fuel rod spawn I couldn’t lock down both. I can definitely see yer point about ppl abusing it if it was implemented, though I was referring to more extreme situations like mine like my whole team quitting less than a minute into the match. It was just an idea maybe the banhammer needs to be more strict but it’s unfair and not fun to be in matches like that and it happens CONSTANTLY.

The chances you can get a power weapon and are in a position to use it in a 3v1 are slim at best. The maps are small especially with sprint, you will be spotted. I have no problem with going to just loadouts. You won’t win all your encounters but at least you have more of a chance. Maybe it might discourage some quitting as well.

Thank you and I was only talking about disabling weapon pads in extreme situations where 2 or more ppl quit off a team the banhammer is not working and it’s the ppl following the rules that are being punished.

I understood you brother. I kind of like the idea. Unfortunately those extreme situations happen more times than I wish.
