Hi I made this thread for people to post there classes so other people could see them and maybe learn from them and give tips and help.

Complete (I think) list of customization options thanks to
CIARAN REYNOLDS.

Anyway here’s my classes.

Name: Med-long

Primary: DMR/Light rifle

Secondary: SR/AR/Suppressor

Grenades: Frag

Armour Ability: Hardlight Shield

Tactical Package: Firepower

Support Package: Awareness

This class can be used very well with Sniper rifles and can defend himself.

Name: Close

Primary: SR/AR/Suppressor

Secondary: Magnum

Grenades: Plasma

Armour Ability: Promethean Vision

Tactical Package: Shielding

Support Package: Dexterity

This will be good with Shotguns and other close range weapons.

Name: Medium

Primary: BR/Carbine

Secondary: Boltshot

Grenades: Frag

Armour Ability: Regeneration Field

Tactical Package: Fast Track

Support Package: Sensor

Good all round soldier who will level faster.

Name: Vehicle

Primary: Any

Secondary: Plasma pistol

Grenades: Plasma grenade

Armour Ability: Thruster Pack

Tactical Package: Wheelman

Support Package: Explosives

Good against vehicles and as a vehicle driver/gunner.

Name: Infinity Slayer

Primary: Any

Secondary: Any

Grenades: Any

Armour Ability: Any

Tactical Package: Requististion

Support Package: Ordnance Priority

Good for Infinity Slayer game types.

Name: Offence

Primary: BR/Carbine/Suppressor/AR/SR

Secondary: Any

Grenades: Pulse

Armour Ability: Hologram

Tactical Package: Mobility

Support Package: Explosives

Good for Offencive objective game types.

Name: Defence

Primary: BR/Carbine/Suppressor/AR/SR

Loadout Name: Jack of All Trades

Primary Weapon: Carbine

Secondary Weapon: Storm Rifle

Grenade: Pulse

Armor Ability: Autosentry

Tactical Package: Firepower

Support Package: Dexterity

this is basically the only Loadout I’ll need. It fits for every playstyle I play/want basically. Mid range fights? Use Carbine. Close Range fights? Use Storm Rifle. People chasing/needing to be wounded? Pulse. Vehicles annoying me? Pulse. Need to block an area? Pulse. Need to defend location/objective? Autosentry. Need to reload faster to fight faster? Dexterity. Need to swap out Carbine for Storm Rifle because someone got up close quickly? Dexterity.

the only things that are problems are DMRs/Sniper Rifles, but since my playstyle isn’t long range, oh well, I’ll live, and just try to avoid them.

Pretty much a Jack of all trades then. Though I think pulse might be a better grenade because the enemy chasing you can run into it as it has a long lasting effect. Better for wounding.

Meant for survivability with a nice DPS out-put.

I’ve been debating either Frags or Pulse, leaning more towards Pulse now. also allows me to deal with vehicles better. and thanks for the new class name! :smiley:

Obviously, anybody who is at least decent with explosives would use this. You can always pick up grenades wherever you are basically, your nades to extra damage, you take less explosive damage, and with the shield i have even more resistance. I think a nice loadout name for this class would be “The Tank” :slight_smile:

I’m having a tough time choosing between Firepower and Resupply for my main class. I’d love to have a Suppressor as a secondary, but I’m a heavy grenade user…

Seeing as I haven’t really played, at all. My imagination can take it from here.

This may be pending, because I have no idea if it will actually perform well for me.

Anyways

Loadout 1

Armor Ability: either Thruster Pack, or Promethean Vision (whichever I deem suitable)
Tactical package: Shielding
Support package: Dexterity

Once I KNOW for sure about performance of weapons, and wether or not the tac and supp packages help my playstyle, they may change, but from what I can just sense about the game, this looks to be my favorite options.

This is easy:

Carbine (With Silver/Gold Reskin)
Magnum
Plasma Grenades
Promethean Vision
Resupply
Stability

If these abilities work as described in other threads/official information (and the Carbine still works like Halo 3 or the Needle Rifle), then this is a class with absolutely zero weaknesses. I’ll have near-perfect intel, both close and long range capabilities, anti-vehicle and anti-personnel ability, and be able to fight back under fire.

The only changes I might make are for maps with vehicles/machine guns (Take Gunner and Wheelman instead) or for a really small map I might bring an AR instead of the Carbine.

I might also be convinced to use another AA besides Promethean Vision if 343 has successfully nerfed it by the time the game releases - or else I’ll be forced to used it constantly until the gaming community is so tired of people like me abusing the hell out of the ability 343 is forced to nerf/change/remove(preferred) the ability.
