I am posting here today to share my latest map Descendant. Descendant is a asymmetrical BTB map inspired by the Halo 3 campaign mission “Ark”. This map is my take on BTB Heavies for Halo 5.
Many of the structures are a blend of classic halo ark architecture blended with some of my own ideas. I included a link bellow to my ForgeHub post where you can check out some pictures.

With how much Dispelled impresses me, I’m definitely looking forward to taking a look at this map. Even if I can’t get a full lobby together to try it out, I might just walk around on it to explore it.

Thanks! I’m happy to hear you like Dispelled. This is my first time doing a Asymmetrical map of this scale so I look forward to hearing from you once you done some exploring!
I took some time to hop on and look around and explore, although I haven’t done a full lobby playthrough yet. I really appreciate the asymmetrical design of the map, as it shows potential to have a ton of different gun fights/battles happening all around the map. My only criticism so far only lies in probably the power up placement. While the Camo seems to be in an open enough area for people to reach and see it, the Overshield being up on that cliff might not be quite as obviously located for people to find it and pick it up. It might be better off in the tunnel located near the Hunter Cannon (Wicked Grasp).
But again, I haven’t played with a full lobby, so I could be very wrong about that all together. I actually don’t know where both team’s initial spawns are located.
You also captured that classic “Ark” feel as well. Awesome work!
