this is getting to be a bit ridiculousness me and my buddy are playing action sack we are on about a 20 game winning spree we keep deranking after winning games, for example we win one game rank up to 39 win the next game derank to 38 and its a continuous cycle never advancing to 40 but never losing a game.
CSR changes depending on you previous game. if you won this game but lost the one before that one you’ll get “de-ranked”

That, plus, OP, usually i don’t pay attentiont to that, but i’m more concerned for k/d. But if you like CSR, then i respect your decision.

Do you see why this sounds silly? I’m pretty sure you deranking in-game is the result of playing good and then playing poorly. Not because of 343.

No it is not. K/D has nothing to do with CSR.
There is an algorithm that takes your score, the score of other in the game, and everyones CSR and calculates your new CSR at the end of the game. I guarantee it is 100% consistent.
FuriousNoob posted a breakdown is his thread proving that your CSR is changing exactly as it is expected to.
all I know is that in 20 games I have not lost and I am always top score in the game thus making this system broken.

It doesn’t matter whether you won or not so I took that bit out. Are you honestly going to stand by those words?? because furious already looked at your game history and that was not the case (I’m looking at them right now and its clearly not the case).
The game is not just randomly singling you out and refusing to let you rank up. It is calculated exactly the same for everyone.
But that is his point really, it shouldn’t matter if he’s not top scoring or not, if you win , you WIN, you shouldn’t be penalized for that in any shape of form, it’s a terrible system in that regard.

I don’t even check my CSR. I go to Halotracker and check my Trueskill, which happens to be a 50. I should have a 50 for CSR, but no, I can’t seem to get past 30.
Edit: I’ll check my CSR when the system gets fixed.

Choose to play in a playlist that has been explicitly announced as individual based CSR. Complain when your team mate can’t carry you up the ranks.
You need to go back well over a week to get to my action sack stats and yes I will guarantee that every game I was +10 or greater and still won. So if you want to say you looked through my stats make sure your looking at the right playlist not my throwdown games.
if it individual based if I am top on my team pulling a positive stat than I shoudl gain exp 100% of the time but this is not the case.

that’s what I suspected at first but it has happened so many times in numerous playlists that it couldn’t possibly be a glitch. Like I have won rumble pit games with a positive K/D and gone down. I have won double team games and gone down, I have lost numerous throwdown games and gone up.

Okay, have YOU read Furiousn00b’s reply? I have and you left out in your quote that he sead:

He is correct, based on EXACTLY what Furiousn00b (by the way) SUGGESTED was his take on how the CSR system worked. Yeah, I read it and it specifically penalizes players for not being totally (MLG style) team coordinated.
All sead and done. . .K/D is ultimately the better yardstick by which to guage personal over-all performance.
