Seriously, I either dominate the game and am king nearly the whole maych or I headhunt him and get so many bonus points I take over or just win. Can barely get 5 or 6 without ending the game.

Yea this is unbelievable. I either sit there and get myself killed the very moment I get kinged, but that doesn’t work. Or I actually play the game and stay king nearly the whole match making it so hardly anyone else ever gets kinged and I screw myself out of regicides. Worst challenge idea ever.
I agree, it’s too hard. The weekly is 18 in one game and thats just not going to happen and todays is 10 in one match, which is still a challenge. I usually play against pretty decent people but I always end up the King even though I try not to.
The most I get in a game is 6-8. But I did see it glitches and stacks your gamesworth of Regicides, unless it got fixed. Only reason I got the 10 in one game, thats just too high.
10 is at the very end of “do-able”. I average about 7-9 if I am aiming for only regicides. But 18 is absolutely impossible unless you somehow get a group of your friends to help you game the system.
I win 8/10 Regicide games and when i REALLY do try to play bad just to earn some regicides for this impossible weekly i usually end up with only 5-7 regicides.
I wonder if they misstyped the weekly so instead of 18 regicides it should’ve been 18 headshot kills in one game.
I saw on another thread that kills as king count as well
If King kills counted I’d have had this beaten about two dozen times over at this point. I’ll test that theory right now,just in case, but I doubt there is any truth behind it.

But I agree, 18 in a single game…you just cant get close without ending up as the king yourself, and even if you let yourself fall behind, the score limit is so low you end up becoming the king yourself

Agreed. I got to 13 one single time, but that was with me and a party member trying to game the system, which felt cheap and still didn’t work. So, it’s either a typo or some kind of sick joke.
10 is certainly achievable for sure though, one just has to be a bit strategic about it.
In order to get 18 Regicides you’d have to kill almost EVERY King before he/she got a kill while not taking the lead yourself. 18 Regicides at +15 each is 270/300 points.
I just gave up before I ever started on getting it.

I’m honestly glad you did the math for this. I was literally about to do it myself just to see if it was even humanly possible to even start trying harder to complete the challenge, but now I know it’t not. Even on the smallest map, the chances of completion are slim to none.
I can now pretend this challenge doesn’t exist.
OK. Kills you get while king and killing the King count. The description is WRONG. So basically take King and Stay king to get it.

Well actually…it’s not VERY doable…it’s quite hard to get 10 Regicides in a game. Maybe if I was playing against really bad players it would be easy.
