So I know the new rank system is pretty much how many wins you get vs how many fails you get. Get more wins and go higher into the ranks.
Well I was a Gold 2 and when I won my next game it “promoted me” to Gold 1. Anybody able to explain this? I know that’s not how it works since I rose pretty high in the Shotty Snipers playlist. So, what the hell?
I’m decently sure it’s not just based on winning or losing the game. Granted you can’t rank up from a loss, but a win with a negative KDA has caused me to down rank before. I would guess there is much more to it than simple W/L. I can actually prove that is true because I know people who are in Onyx in Swat, but have a lower Win/Loss than I do.

I’m sure it is but from what I have played it seems only W/L. And so far that’s what others I know think. But if it’s not just W/L that makes sense.
