Demo The Matchmaking

Before i judge what i am hearing i need to see it in action rather than some text on a page. 343 just needs to show us how it will work and we can all judge it rather than how it is depicted from a source that wasn’t able to actually go hands on with the game.

It wouldn’t really ruin the game if they showed just the matchmaking demo rather than a campaign. It won’t give out any secrets or ruin anything as long as they take a map and just fill it up with BR and AR and show us how it works. What do you think.

Should they demo the matchmaking to us?

Keep this thread alive so that a 343 employee can see it.

I agree completly. Nothing to add though.

Agreed.

I’m going to make an RPG my secondary on all my classes so I can knock those jetpackers out of the sky.

I think somebody mentioned something about that; how some of this stuff won’t make complete sense unless we actually see it in action, but they apparently aren’t ready for that yet.

It’s now or never really, i mean so much feedback on what was released is just to negative. At least they could show us how it works before people jump to conclusion and their game falls in sales and make no profit making Halo 4 decrease dramatically sales and the shutdown of 343 industries. Their choice not mine

I don’t think it’s now or never. Now would of course be nice, so people can stop worrying; but release is a long time away. Sure, people can all start running around yelling things like “Pre-order: Cancelled!!” but I don’t think many of us have preordered yet, nor will we deal with that until within a month or two of release. Hell, they don’t even have a release date yet. They have plenty of time to slowly drip out a few gameplay trailers. I’m sure they’ve got a crazy PR/marketing team someplace scheduling all this garbage out. They probably aren’t expecting as negative a reaction to some of these things as they’re getting; but they should expect it by now if they don’t include sufficient clarification of what they show; the internet will speculate. And the internet is a cynical place, so speculation will lead to worst possible interpretations. Then they can send a representative to post/say something on the internet to show that it’s not as bad as we all assumed, and we’ll relax for a bit until the next planned incomplete announcement starts it all going again. In the meantime, this talk just gets people thinking about the next halo game which is probably a positive thing for them.

If it’s a September release, they can show gameplay as late as summertime, probably June or July, and be okay so long as it’s good. If it’s november/december, then show gameplay by August and they’re probably cool. Get people excited a few months before, they pre-order, halo wins.

I think this issue should be more wildly viewed.

Cut it, seriously.

You won’t be able to spawn with power weapons anyway.

OT: Transformers War For Cybertron had a multiplayer demo, so did Crysis 2. I wouldn’t mind having one for Halo 4.

I’d love to watch a team slayer game. I bet it would calm a lot of nervous fans

they said that they have no funds for a beta (demo is for the campaign) but they could put the beta in another game, like epic games does for the Gears of War 3 beta, in Bulletstorm, just taking a quote on the sales or just sell the beta as a code like MP or Live Codes, around…mh… 4,99$ or 9,99$ max, well mass effect 3 beta was also included in battlefield to consent the buyers the possibilty of playing it before other beta testers

You know? Im not against the changes but this is a really good idea.

The op means Demo as in Demonstration. ie a video of Halo 4’s game play showing how these the things work.

I would like to see something as well.

Exactly i think the community would love to see it in action rather than hearing about it or how it works through text but just a video demonstration would be amazing!
