We are all upset about co-op and forge being delayed. All of us have our opinions on the matter for launch and strongly differ in some cases. The community needs to come together and demand that 343i explains why these features are delayed in some manner of detail. We need to be reassured that everything behind the scenes isn’t a disaster on these two things.
We deserve this level of transparency.
they have been pretty darn transparent. Co-op ran into issues with implementation and given the focus on polish instead of implementation this past year (possible other changes) its getting pushed back. Forge is also apparently more complex and just needs more time.
As much as people want the nitty gritty, I dont think people actually will care or understand that kind of stuff. I mean, look at the perception of the audio blog. I saw a ton of discourse about how the sounds are nice but nothing was understood and or it was too “dev talk”. You either get transparency and complexity or you get basic reasoning that most people understand. We got the latter

They’ve been plenty transparent, they aren’t coming at launch because they’re not ready. Might get into the weeds later but the info we have now is enough.
