So I waited for UI fixes? Get the hell out of here! This better be a joke. If there were more significant fixes then wouldn’t they have singled them out instead of UI fixes? Around the clock they said. I JUST WANT THIS GAME TO WORK.

  1. Halo 4 playlist.
  2. More stable BTB.
  3. Trueskill ranked playlists that work properly.
  4. Dedicated Servers.
  5. JIP.
  6. Audible beep count down on the map vote screen.

Seriously who is in charge of what they communicate to the community? Who in their right mind would think this was a good idea to put out there?

This company absolutely does not care one iota about us or this game. They are doing the absolute bare minimum simply to have the documentation to support that they’re “trying to fix it” in order to protect themselves in the event they are sued.

Bought this game for my friend and myself for christmas, seriously regretting that decision now…

I’m (ignorantly) hopeful that the long pause since the last update means big fixes are on the horizon. I’m also willing to believe that it’s just a runaround at this point, which is unfortunate.

The generic post probably resulted from community demand for an update, which is fine. It did say details are forthcoming. How many different ways can you say “we’re working on everything”? Not many. The actual patch notes are also in line with what I’ve seen from other developers (barring the verbiage “improved xyz” rather than “fixed xyz”).

I’m personally not going to place much weight on the wording of an update post. Many claim 343 does not care about the franchise, but even if that’s true they can’t expect to sell H5 well if MCC is left as is. Ideally, anyway.

I would think they would have learned something when the tournment went to heck over the weekend. The problems with MCC where put on full display.

I read the update, but you do make a good point. The order/priorities is questionable. If it’s all fixed in the end it’s fine imo. Devs have to be aware, however, that adding extra content doesn’t replace a functioning (as advertised) game. How could they not?..

Any CEO/Executive VP/Head of Operations/Overall Lead at any kind of fortune 500 company, or subsidiary of a fortune 500 company, that would allow something of this nature, with this many problems to go to open market is just an utter failure and clearly did not participate adequately in any key management or oversight functions of the overall project. This entire MCC situation is a complete debacle, it’s a colossal failure. It’s just so far beyond being unacceptable. Microsoft and 343 clearly do not care about the customer of the MCC. If Microsoft/343 had care or concern about how poor this product is for the consumer drastically different things would have been accomplished by this point.
