The map pass was only $25 and the Limited Edition was $100…it’s not a big deal. I know it’s “unfair” but they made it free to everyone. Yes, I bought the map pass, but I really don’t care. It’s not a lot of money.
I agree with you. I can afford a lot of things. However, others cannot and the the money for them might have been a big deal. We, or at least I, am very lucky to be able to afford what I want. Others have to pre-order and pay off over time. To others it is a big deal. I am just lending a voice to their concerns.

They didn’t give out the actual product you paid for, the War Games Pass, they ‘gave’ out The Crimson Map Pack, a bonus to the product you paid for, but not the actual product.
Would it be nice, yes, will it happen, probably not.

It was advertised as a saving if you were to buy all 3 maps, meanwhile it is a lost, that is false advertising.
totally ignorant post. ms did not intentionally give it out for free while charging others. it was a glitch in the system. if you went to the marketplace, they were charging 800ms points. but if you went to the market place via halo 4 menu, they were charging you 0 ms points. so your accusations are false because their motives were to charge the customer for the dlc.
if it were free, it would’ve been a tu.

right you are, the maps in the crimson map pack are horrendous.
first of all the maps are essentially BTB maps which in itself is annoying considering there was already an abundance of BTB maps to begin with, on top of that they have next to no vehicles within them which to me is kind of silly because the ONLY real reason to play BTB is for its vehicle centered combat.
secondly the map pack feature no small/medium sized maps which kind of sucks considering about 90% of the playlists and gametypes are played on those sized maps.
I dont mean to sound like a spoiled brat or anything but to me the crimson map pack is worth exactly how much I payed for it, nothing.

This. Really, it just means that more people will be online playing the maps anyways, since they were free. I bought the LE, and it doesn’t bother me at all. I don’t care if the next two are free, either.
And to the people who are saying 343 doesn’t care, get over it. 343/MS are in the business of making cash. If you honestly think this was intentional, you’re high. Why give away something that many, many people will willingly shell out 800 MSP for?

I got the LE because I’m a Halo fan, not for the War Games Map Pass, so I really don’t care about the Map Packs, but I’d like to see some more fast paced maps like Exile but more balanced between the teams
