It doesn’t say it in-game, but it has to be Slayer for it to count. I don’t know why they would make a Commendation for it and not state that it’s Slayer only, but that’s the way it’s always been. It’s probably to discourage people only going for kills in objective gametypes.

I have to say one thing, it does kind of suck though to not get perfections in other gametypes. Slayer is the only playlist that has perfections.

I agree. Getting a Perfection in an objective game is way harder than in slayer if you are actually going for the flag yourself, scoring points in the hill, holding on to the oddball, etc.

You can Only get perfections in slayer. It’s been like that in every halo.
