Was that video a team game? Cuz if so, I couldn’t tell.
That looks nothing like Halo. I am very disappointed in 343…because they told me that they learned from their mistakes.
It wasn’t just the imbalances that we had a problem with in Halo 4; there was also a ton wrong with the feel.
Halo 5 isn’t fixing that, but amplifying it.
I’m sad to see another fast-paced clusterfudge.
Be ready, the angry fanboys are coming to call us heretics for not completely supporting the new way.
Remember when we were back? Those were the days.
The ADS isn’t your typical ADS, it’s still right stick to zoom. So, I’m okay with that.
As for sprint, like it or not, it’s here to stay. Times change. Side scrollers used to be all the rage, but then things turned 3d and there’s simply no going back. Times change. At least they have an adequate failsafe - shields don’t recharge if you’re running. So the biggest complaint about sprint (it’s a get out of jail free card) is pretty adequately addressed in my book. And no, I don’t buy that sprint makes maps bigger. Shiddy map design makes maps bigger. That might have been 343’s reasoning for Halo 4, but it was so wrong on so many levels. I really think Guardians will prove that you can have sprint on Halo 3 or 2 proportioned maps and it won’t ruin the design.

Sorry but bigship disagrees with you
I don’t know, it does look like something I would like. I can take or leave sprint, but I do like how there is a trade-off to use it this time around. I like being able to have much freer movements in this Halo instead of being an uncoordinated tank. The AI speech from our Spartans seems a bit off, but in the prevalence of party chat and just plain incommunication in online gaming, I think it will at least give players a semblance of what is going on since their teammates won’t. My impressions show me a game that looks fairly good, but I won’t know until I get the beta in my hands.
But I won’t blame anyone for not agreeing, we’ve all got different tastes and I hope we get strong custom settings to make Halo 5 a better game for everyone.
But… I want more advanced movement and aeshteically better-looking zoom…
Also, AI fallouts are good because we no longer have to hope to the precursors that our teammates are going to use their mics for something other than trahstalk and squeaking.
