hello fellow fans!
Noble 6 was an incredible spartan, hyper lethal, oni’s grim reaper, and a fan favorite. Why is that though? why is Noble 6 a fan favorite, why did reach sell soo many copies? There is a simple answer to that, one it was a new halo game and one of the most anticipated. The second reason why we love noble 6 is because Noble 6 was the player in the halo universe. think about it, the first spartan you could customize that didn’t have a preset identity, that you could identify more with than even master chief 117. for the first time in the halo franchise we weren’t just playing as master chief or playing a halo game, we were IN a halo game. We were part of an incredible universe and just as good as the chief. Bungie did an excellent job with Halo Reach and Noble 6. Noble 6’s sacrifice helped the chief and helped humanity defeat the covenant. so if 343 wants to do some good for us fans, they would incorporate a new noble 6 as it were, not noble 6 himself. his sacrifice must remain because that was a big part of reach sacrifice, Im suggesting a new noble 6 so to speak, a new hyper lethal spartan that the player can customize and identify with so we players can feel we are a part of the story again and not just watching it unfold before our eyes, have this new noble 6 join Blue team, have a character select, have the second player play as the new noble 6 on chiefs adventures, work it into the story. you don’t have to focus completely on this new character but you can have him/her part of the story and bring the player back into the franchise. if you like this idea spread it around maybe we can get a new noble 6 and finally have our place back in the halo franchise! tell me your thoughts on this maybe we can get something like this in the future!
Well, at least it’s not another ‘Noble 6 and/or another member of Noble Team or Sergeant Johnson is alive!’ thread.
Noble 6 is popular because Halo Reach was the final Halo game that Bungie made, he (or she) was extremely customizable for both campaign and MP. And, as you’ve said, Reach was very popular despite the fact that its narrative is bland and there were a lot of missed opportunities to make Bungie’s final outing with the universe into something truly amazing (like giving us those massive battle like they promised in the ViDocs but ended up just doing low res blobs in the background). He’s popular because he’s a big hero, sacrifices himself for the team, without Noble 6, we’d have no Halo.
And a bunch of other reasons which I’m sure people will contribute.
For me, having paid attention to who 343i was hiring and the few facts that have slipped out, as well as paying attention to industry trends…Halo Infinite WILL have a single player campaign with you as the Chief, but after the ending, it’ll turn into a Destiny-like Games As A Service platform. Microsoft doesn’t have one of those and they are profitable, but after Battlefront II blew up and public opinion finally turned against GAAS, they quickly shut down on the fact that they were hiring for Live Service positions. So yes, I do believe that after they give us a single player campaign that will probably end with killing off the Chief and Cortana (which they’ve wanted to do for a while now) we’ll get dumped into a Destiny-like shooter where we make our own Spartan and roam around the open world environment doing busy work quests for new loot.
But let’s not try to ‘spread the word around’. Halo Infinite is basically finished at this point, I bet we could have it right now if Microsoft didn’t need it to move the next Xbox. Enthusiasm is great, but really try to ‘read the room’ beforehand and temper expectations.
And also break up your paragraphs so they’re not hard to read walls of text.
Thanks for your reply, still I appreciate and understand what your saying. Guess I should have gave it more thought so i wouldnt be dismissed like an excited child.
