edit 2: I have taken the unusual step of reporting my own thread in case it is breaking any rules. Was not my intention.
Interesting. I didn’t receive an email
Pretty sure you can get into a lot of trouble for revealing that information. But just so you know those surveys occur every month or so and from 343 and Microsoft. They do not entail a sift in direction nor about Microsoft getting scared about sales.

Doesn’t say anything on the email or in the survey about keeping it confidential. I would respect it if they did.
Yeah if they give all the Halo 4/ reach fanboys the poll we are screwed.
Edit: Sales should come back once the word that the “competitive” style multiplayer from the original halos is back. Most people lost hope in the franchise during reach and Halo 4 which is when they picked up all the PVE and casual gamers I’m guessing under the age of 18.
Just my 2 cents.

Are you part of the Community Feedback Program?

Not to my knowledge

I thought a lot of younger gamers didn’t care for PvE stuff. I thought they mostly enjoyed playing online with other people and PvE was for old farts like me who grew up gaming before the internet. Isn’t that why a lot of newer games don’t really focus on PvE and have weak or no campaigns?

If that’s true I will send a message to a mod to ask them to delete the thread. I didn’t see anything saying this so I was genuinely oblivious

I got the same email and what you are talking about is the survey that Microsoft and 343 puts out see the thoughts of Halo gamers. Yes talking about it is unlawful and you can be removed from the program. Microsoft nor 343 are having a identity crisis. They are just asking about a broad range of topics and getting our feels. And to the person above who said they shouldn’t ask about Halo Reach or 4. They shouldn’t ask about 3 either then since it is the worst game in the series.
I received my survey after I signed up for the Halo Community Feedback Program about a week-ish after the game was released. Got a REQ pack for completing it too! I’ve easily logged another 10+ hours into the game since I completed the survey - kinda wished I had waited a little longer to fill it out as I could have added some more feedback in regards to the MP portion… Many of the questions were the typical “rate importance to you” scale, listing many of the features / things in Halo 5. I wouldn’t say it’s an identity crisis - more of a standard follow up that companies make when they launch a new product.
Got to call BS on this. I’m in the feedback program and none of your garbage was in it. The start of each survey goes over the non-disclosure agreement.

Lots of newer games have campaigns. And I should have meant Casual. Idk I could just be biased because I always preferred good ol’ competitive multiplayer. Always have. Whether it was counter strike, WOW, Runescape, COD, hell mario party / mario karts with the siblings. I’ve always been a competitive person. But I’m 24 and don’t quite understand the new generations thinking.
What he received isn’t the feedback program. I am in that as well and this was different and just an Xbox live survey in general that happened to focus on Halo 5. I received one at my email and also at another email I use for my son’s account , which isn’t in the feedback program.

Check carefully, all the ones I’ve participated in have had a non disclosure warning.

I don’t like low TTK twitch shooters. I can’t stand those. I love a competitive strategy shooter. Halo is the chess of shooters. I do enjoy a good PvE though. Sometimes I like exploring and a good story. That’s why I like Halo so much, it’s always had both.
