I just got out of a match where I was testing the power of each primary weapon.
Your logic that the # of headshots required to kill someone = effectiveness is incorrect.
While it does take 8 headshots to make a kill, the rate of fire the carbine has allows it to kill around the same time as a DMR or BR. Additionally, the ROF allows it to kill unshielded enemies quicker than a DMR who’s shots are much slower.
I use it instead of the BR for mid-range.
The true effectiveness of a weapon is calculated through kills-per-magazine, rate of fire, and reload speed. Along with accuracy.
Not to mention the carbine has 0 bloom and 0 recoil.
Again, I’d suggest looking at the kill times.
Last I checked, the Covie Carbine was the fastest.
