For i343 to show their dedication on actually getting these two, so far only two, missing modes implemented, i343 could delay the store, disable it, until they’ve got co-op and forge released.
I support👍 No money for them till they produce
They have my money day 1. And if I check your profiles day 1 I bet you will also be playing it SOLO.
so run the multiplayer with no profit incentive for 6 months? when hell freezes over lol
for one this will never happen it would be a gesture with no merit behind it & will only hurt the people who want to use said store.

Uhm, I’m suggesting i343 delay the store for the MP part in order to show their seriousness to get co-op and forge implemented. No store until modes are in.

Yup.
i343 showing their dedication to get the modes in.
EA also mentioned back with Battlefront 2, that them disabling their in-game purchases wouldn’t affect the bottom line, or however it was phrased.
There’s no harm in this for the community.

Of course there’s merit.
They commit to opening the store when they implement the missing modes.
Not eating a cookie before going for a walk.
Less chances of delays if more difficulties arise, as their income would depend on their own promise to get the modes out.
Right, people are hurt for not getting to spend money in a disabled store? I’m not following.

the store argument is a complete non starter to begin with people are crusading against microtransactions for no better reason other than
"I don’t have Co-op or Forge nobody gets a chance to buy the campaign, the battle pass or the other microtransactions". doing such would make the game dead on arrival & could severely impact their post launch support as everyone knows the Developers don’t work on fin air they would need the purchases from said store when everyone will be playing the Base game for FREE.
That won’t happen. They have an entire season planned already.
Though, I do like how MW2019 handled it by having a “pre-season” where there was a few weeks of no in-game purchases at all. It did not last long, but those brief moments of just focusing on the game were quite nice. I would love to see it in this game, but it ain’t happening.
Yes indeed, but everything is for the emotion of having an infinite halo present, you don’t think so.
Marketing enters all areas of society and in the field of video games it is not the exception, however it is part of giving interest to the player so that our world as players is full, in other words if I want more there is where The products will be there, because thanks to them we are more happy with ourselves and it is pleasant.
I will buy everything on the store (even the things I don’t like) to make up for those who boycott the store.
they’re showing their dedication by making it f2p…but okay.
Not going to happen, Microsoft is hell bent on getting Halo Infinite out this year and i’m 95% sure they’re not looking for another delay. Look on the bright side though, at least it wouldn’t be a Cyberpunk like release.

I get your message but your goal is not supported by your solution. Different teams work on different parts of the game because they all require a specific set of skills and experience. A part from the fact that these are probably already under high working pressure 343 will probably do everything possible to support them getting these things done. It’s not like they like to release a game without these features and I’m very glad that they don’t choose to release them in a buggy state for a complete game and fix them in the first year.
Also it really wouldn’t be “player first” to lock available content. A lot of people are very excited about customisation and no reason to rob them off it, even if you feel robbed of your perfect halo experience at release.

this…so much this. “Also it really wouldn’t be “player first” to lock available content.”

I’m fairly confident you don’t understand the meaning of at least a couple of the words you used in this post.
As matter of fact, it would be about the ONLY gesture they could make that would show merit at this point in time. Whether you agree with this decision or not is irrelevant. It would be a very clear gesture with merit that shows that they are committed. That isn’t up for debate.

A perfect living example of why games come out with missing features and devs don’t really care on delivering on promises.

They’re making it free to play because they think they can sell more micronsactions to whales than they can get people to spend $70 on the game.

instead of removing it, why not give us the first season pass for free? (i don’t really care either way.) I also disagree with your statement about it being the “only gesture…of merit”. I’m personally happier they decided to do it this way, not delay the whole program again.

They said those who buy the “full” game, extreme emphasis on the quotation marks there, already get the first season pass for “free” since you’re basically only paying for the campaign, not the multiplayer.
You can disagree with my statement but you haven’t offered an alternative gesture with merit. Simply doing what they said they were going to is not a gesture with merit.
Maybe - sure that’s the mobile game strat- but at the same time mobile games have game enhancing items for purchase. So far that doesn’t appear to the case with HI’s shop. It appears purely cosmetic at this point. I think they’d move more to a DLC style model rather than a live service model if that was truly the intention.
This is just not going to happen man let’s get real
