Delay the game

If you’re not going to ship the game with all the features that are necessary, then delay the game. Nobody wants to have to wait 6 months for forge to be released. Custom games will be dead and irrelevant without forge. That is an entire community ostracized because you decided to prioritize monetization of the F2P multiplayer and battlepass over making a complete game. Waiting 3 more for CO-OP campaign? Seriously?? I can understand forge to an extent, but waiting 3 months for CO-OP?? That is unacceptable. Delay the game if you’re not going to have such important features at launch. I can compromise by having forge being delayed especially if you’re going to add more complexity than halo 5’s. I will accept that, but CO-OP MUST be there on release. Delay the game.

I hope prioritizing microtransactions and battlepass were worth the game missing iconic features and ruining 343s rep even further. It’s like they just can’t seem to handle making a complete Halo game at launch.

i been saying stuff like this since the seasons in MCC started. 343 wants to add cosmetics and a ton of bs but doesn’t want to add CGB to anymore titles or release a full game “on time” (after it was already delayed an entire year). I knew these 343 clowns were inept when they made Invasion a ranked game type.

Do not delay, why should over 90% of halo players new and old suffer by waiting another more 3 or 6 months. Stats for the past 20 years of Halo, show that over 90% of players, play the campaigns SOLO single player first time. They then play multiplayer then co-op the campaign the second time. 343, we are with you, now stay on target.

No. Would rather way 3-6 months for just co op and forge than wait the same amount of time for everything.

Yep. Delay. Delay. Delay.

Release the mp, save the rest.

Forge will still be bolstered by incoming players if they save the campaign/“official” release for next year.

I agree with releasing the MP now. I know there’ll be downsides, but Halo Infinite needs to be released in some way possible. I’m aware everyone has the part of the game they love and play as their favorites. For many people (including me) it’s MP. For others it’s forge or campaign. Delay what needs to be delayed. Release what is able to be released.

I doubt the game will be delayed and it should not be. (It would seem the complexity involved in building a game of this size and scope is lost on some.) Those who want the game delayed until they get all the features they want have an option. They can simply wait to buy the game until it has all the features they want (of if they have game pass don’t download until then). To demand the game be delayed because it does not have a feature on release is, well, immature. Look, I get that those who love those features are understandably disappointed. But demanding a game delay is taking it too far.

I somewhat agree. I’m somewhat okay with releasing the mp because as a free-to-play entity it’s already something if its own beast. I would hope that if they did delay, however, that they wouldn’t frankenstein the rest of the game and release campaign separately from forge.

Just do mp, and then the whole-game whoosh! sometime next year.

They can’t delay again. They’ve already said campaign leaks are out there. Accidentally during the last tech preview. Imagine delaying for another year with that floating around out there.
