With the announcement of the delay could you update us on the possibility of a limited edition Halo series X?
XboxPope on Twitter has had some amazing Series X mock ups and has be excited at the prospect of a special halo version of the console! But now with the delay I’m worried about buying Series X day one. I could get day one console and then when you release Halo miss out on the LE version. Or I can wait to get Series X until release of Halo’s hopefully LE console. However, it would really suck to not buy the console in hopes of LE to have them not release one and I went without buying one for no reason. Anyway we could get even a nod from 343 on if we should wait or not?

LE consoles usually get announced close to their respective game’s release and we never got any confirmation of possible Infinite LE Series X consoles prior to the delay. Don’t quote me on this, but chances are good (again, we don’t even know if there’s going to be one) that you’ll have to wait a fair bit of time until getting official news.
Honestly at this point, if there was going to be a limited edition console, it might have been in production already given the fact that production has begun on series x’s in general. Impossible to know for sure what their plans are/were/will become, but I don’t think it’s entirely out of the question that they release a limited edition infinite console at launch anyways.
I personally would love this because it would mean I can get the themed console plus any collectors edition of the game when it launches.
