There is a lot of good in the moment to moment gameplay, but being objective I feel this game may need more time in the oven!
I want this game to do well and it has a solid foundation, but I’m becoming concerned. Unless the full campaign and all encounters are near completion and the final months are on adding polish to the game’s visual fidelity and ensuring we don’t miss core features at launch, i feel a delay (as unlikely as it is, could be the best thing for this game).
What I feel would be very bad for the game is for them to release this title lacking in essential gameplay features and modes, all under the ‘evolving world’ mantra.
My cautious optimism is starting to weign. The removal of classic weapons that don’t cannibalise the roles of existing weapons, baffles me, and I think 343 NEED to keep an open dialogue about this game at the very least. Going dark will NOT be good, 343 need to fight to gain trust from many!
I reiterate the sandbox gameplay and direction around the gameplay loop I’m a big fan off!
