This isn’t a post to make a poll about whether or not to delay Halo Infinite. This is to report the results of 5 community polls that have been done over the past several days. Over 244 Thousand respondents voted on whether or not they think Halo Infinite should be delayed so that it can release with Forge and Co-Op. Here are the results.

I know they aren’t going to but Microsoft/343i should do an official poll. Leave it open for a good amount of time to make sure they get everyone possible and decide from there. We don’t want infinite to fail…
Now, I understand that this isn’t everyone in the world, but these polls are representative of what the population thinks of this release. This is my opinion, anyway, because I combine this with what I’ve seen on countless comment sections on YouTube at this point. There is such a consensus. I am currently asking Halo YouTubers for more polls to add to this list, like HiddenXperia and Favyn. Please go ask them kindly if you feel compelled, or ask your favorite YouTuber. Regardless of what anyone thinks of how committed Microsoft is to a Holiday release, with results like these, I felt I had to say something. We said something. And if we still have a voice that 343 listens to, which they do, then there needs to be a conversation had about what’s best for the game. 343, you don’t have to do this for us. You don’t have to rush it out the door to please people. We don’t want that. We want you to have the time you need to release a finished game, and I think a lot of us understand the struggle it’s been to produce this game during Covid, and with only so many years left after having to build the Slipspace Engine. This is the most ambitious Halo title you’ve made so far, and we want you to have all the time you need to make the launch the best it can be, and many of us feel that including Forge and Co-op, no matter the time it takes, is the best way to do that. Please, take your time and talk with Microsoft about pushing the release date back. Please do not release the game unfinished. This is not what the fans want Unyshek

Why would the delay the game when they are already in shutdown mode and getting ready to go gold to release the game?

I don’t know, but I also don’t know what kind of chance there is of them changing their minds. If there’s some chance, I feel this is worth doing.

Because even Microsoft saw it was bad, along with the fact 343i probably wanted to delay the game. Infinite is faring much better now so I don’t think Microsoft or 343i would want to delay the game.

Theyre in shutdown mode and have a set release date.

Well, not to stir the pot, but it is entirely possible. I mean, it costs nothing to make an email/gmail account, it costs nothing to make a youtube account either. So while a large number of them may not be fake accounts or alts…you can’t deny there is a possibility some of them may actually be fakes to boost numbers. Also, you have to take into consideration how many of those who voted yes to delaying the game are just hoping it never gets released. People who hate 343 or just Halo itself are out there and for some reason stalk Halo content creators.
Vocal minority. That’s what the forums are for!!
Personally I can’t wait for the game to launch without forge and co op. I’m ready for some Halo! -Yoink!-! Let’s go!!!

There’s no reason to suspect such an unlikely event though. True though, anything’s possible. These are just fans expressing their opinions man
