This and xbox in general is so boring without anyone talking at least a simple conversation let alone calling out. 7 years ago xbox was fun because you meet so many people now its just a bunch of antisocial misfits. I keep getting on then quit because noone calls out or talking. Its boring
It was the same way 7 years ago, either people talking crap or not talking. Plus people could be in parties like I usually am with my friend as we play. This is only a beta after all, no reason to take it so serious regarding winning/losing.

And thats what seperates us fatal you have a 1.3 kd and hide with your friends in party chat who arnt even playing with you and i like to call out to randoms with a 2.3 kd

Are you really talking and bringing up K/D man?
Besides it’s been like this for a long time, after Halo 2. I definitely prefer the silence over kids yelling anyway.
yeah i am bringing up kd because i bet the majority of people with a high competitive drive like people to have mics. I would rather have a 7 year old trying his heart out telling me were they are than a 20 year old stat -Yoink!- with no mic.

and until you bring someone in here with an equivalent or higher kd to say otherwise i wont be openminded about this. Because im sure they will agree

Real competitive players don’t consider their matchmaking K/D. They look at their performance in a match they find or deem important.
Talking is really optional, and I’d much rather focus on the game unless it’s a serious match with people I know, and spartan chatter really helps by providing me with important intel.

Callouts are pretty damn important, to be frank.

Unless i’m in a clan match or something important then I don’t really care. I matchmake to find other people and have fun with generally.

yeah thats what i thought bryan now go outside and talk to other human beings and gain some confidence. people like you are killing the community, and unless you can show me solid proof that not talking is beneficial to the community i wouldn’t argue

i get what your saying. You would rather have your mic unplugged and not help your teamates in a game and then complain that you lost. No i totaly get it
personaly when im playing with someone and im calling out or at least talking i find i do 3x better than when im pissed because im the only one out of 8 people who want to use xbox live for its core intension
I’ll listen to someone who is actually providing information, and intentionally stick with them. Don’t really need to communicate with energetic folk.
And you are assuming that I complain about losing but I said nothing about it.
Plays without a party. Complains about no one using mics.
I don’t really think anything more needs to be said here.
From what you just said. Why should it be one sided? Why should i be the one giving information without receiving any back? 2 people communicating with each other greatly increase their odds in a 2v4. Rather than one guy listening to himself. You are literaly contradicting the whole poi nt of halo 5 an “ARENA” based game.

If you deem random matchmade games that important, more power to you.
I’m able to win games and turn the tide without information, and should one of my teammates actually do, I stick by them and help them out with extra manpower.
