Hey guys, I’ve used the search function already if you want to know and couldn’t find the answer to my question.
I just want a confirmation on the achievements from DMP if it’s still possible to aquire them in custom game or have 343/Bungie fixed that (i.e do I have to play matchmaking to get them)?
Please, somebody must have an answer to my question. One quick reply and I won’t bother you guys with this silly thread anymore.
I think my friend got a achievement in custom games. But I think 343 patched that up, so my best bet would to try on the DLC playlists online.
You can get them made in custom gametypes with the author as the bungie logo.

Not anymore no. If you got Defiant early like myself and others you were about to. After Defiant’s release the coding prevented it.

My friend said he got the achievements recently by doing custom gaming. But you could be right.
ive had quite a bit of expirience with helping with achievements with both the defiant and noble map pack achievements, you can get all the defiant map pack achievements in custom games (return to sender, crackin’ skulls, candy from a baby), you can only get the noble map pack achievements in MM (both barrels, totally worth it, cross-mappin’, poppin’ & lockin’, offensive driver, you blew it up!, you ate all the chips)

I got it day one and had already beasted most of them in MM but we tried doing the 3 flag ones for Custom and never got anything. We tried for about an hour.

You can actually get defiant achievements in custom? I tried to get it yesterday using a guest on the other team and it wouldn’t work. For the record, I did download the correct gametypes tagged “Bungie” and it still wouldn’t work. What am I doing wrong?
