Defending objectives in FF on ARC is unrealistic.

So during the last two days, I have been playing a lot of Firefight and something I noticed is how my team would almost always lose defending objectives on Escape from ARC (waves 2-4). Just the last game, we lost when we ALL had heavy vehicles, and power weapons. It wasn’t an issue of staying alive as much as it was an issue of sheer numbers of AI rushing into the garage. Clearing the first floor wasn’t hard, but the second floor is difficult to keep clear. The point is that most of the games had us lose the garage despite spending so much REQ on preventing it.

This is also an issue for the other defending objectives on this map. Defending the Forerunner core is also incredibly difficult, although I am getting better at it, but it is still very annoying when all you have is REQ 3-4 available at best.

Anyone having similar annoyances or difficulties?

All you have to do is be inside of it. Clear the first floor and just camp. Let the ai slowly trickle down to you for kills.

The thing is that the AI don’t just ‘trickle’ down, the knights often teleport into the actual garage in large groups. Watching the entrances doesn’t really help much on my play through, and they also enter through second floor as well. Maybe my approach is wrong, but if so, what weapons do you camp with during defending objectives against Prometheans?
