Has anybody finished this commendation? How did you do it? What methods did you use that seemed to work?
I need four for finish that, I just try to protect/recover my flag. Nothing special.
I think you need to kill a sparten next to your flag, dont know how big the radius is but i get them only if they are right next to the flag so some information would be nice

Have you noticed that certain maps are easier for you to hide by the flag than others? Anything special you can tell me that can help?

Keep an eye in your flag when its out of your base and nade/shot everybody whos trying a touch. Maybe Fathom or Truth are best maps because carriers are more exposed. Sorry my english 
I didn’t have trouble getting it but I didn’t do anything special to get it I don’t think. If you’re really trying to complete it then I suppose you just stay on defence and protect your flag.
Maybe in Btb ctf on basin, at start of game sprint to get shotgun and return to base, pick up smg and camp your flag waiting for the enemy to attack?
Camp it with a storm rifle.
It’s kind of an annoying commendation to complete since you should get it upon killing an enemy Spartan that grabs your flag… but as it stands you don’t, you just get the carrier kill. For me, I’m almost done with it now (level 5/5) and to get there I’ve just stayed back on flag defense. They have to be close to your flag, but not grabbing it, to get the defense (not sure on radius). You can also get it if the flag goes out to midfield and you’re defending it there as the enemy team tries to grab it.
