Hey, so I’ve been putting in the work and it’s no lie, the aiming in this game was made for competitive gaming but I’m just a normal guy trying to reel off a few head shots. I remember the aiming in the Beta and I was on point. I completely understand that the game has been out for almost a year and it’d be tough to switch the entire system up but can we get a old aiming system default option? Please, I’m begging, this game needs to be able to not only appeal to competitive people. That is a small segment of how far Halo reaches, and it’s a shame they made a change for people who are good, only making them better.
Try tweaking your dead zones and aim acceleration in the controller settings, maybe that could help!
You don’t need to be pro to get head-shots.
There are other ways to get kills and have fun in Arena than closing the skill gap. The AR, a great weapon, doesn’t require precision aiming to get good results. But closing the skill gap doesn’t help low skill players, it just means they’ll get more easily wrecked by the pros.
They have added more in depth and advanced settings for your aiming to test and try out to your fitting you know

^ This. You’ll want to put your look acceleration down to 2 to match the Beta settings. There’s a blog post about updating your controller settings here 
I found the setting the deadzones to 0% helped loads.
