I prefer for the default armor the iconic current mark generation (H1-H2-H3)! WHAT are your idea?
It’s probably going to be the Chief’s new(old?) gear as shown in Halo:Infinite’s trailer. Either that or we are getting round 3 of the Recruit saga. I just hope Chief’s armor from H4 and H5 finally makes the cut for multiplayer. I absolutely adore that armor and it’s a real shame it has been exclusive to singleplayer for 2 games.
Classic Mark V and Mark VI ( Halo CE and 2-3 ones ) are with NO DOUBT the halo armor.
I’m so glad they are going to use it again in infinite.
Are we talking default armour in multiplayer as in Recruit armour? I actually really like recruit armour, would love to see what it would look like with Sparth’s new art style.
If you mean the default armor in multiplayer I would prefer it to be the campaign armor.

I dunno. Hope there will be more than one option at the beginning. Talking about Recruit I’m a huge fan of the Reach version. I also would love to see the classic MVI to make a comeback as the standard MP armor! The H5G MVI variant should be there as well, but as an easter egg to unlock after doing some crazy yoink! 
How about they make a completely new armor? Recruit can be turned into an unlock able armor afterwards. We already have enough edge lords running around in all black Mark 6 and Mark 5 B (or the Gen 2 recreation of Noble 6’s particular set of Mark 5 B, Decimator) felt more like a Reach only thing, same thing for Mark 5. (Aka Chief’s OG armor)

It would be pretty neat if it had both Mark IV and Recruit, similar to Halo 3. I doubt that would happen, so it will most likely be Recruit. That’s just a blind guess, since I know nothing about Halo Infinite and Halo 4 and 5 start you out with Recruit.

decimator is based off Naomi’s Mark VII, not the Mark V , it says on the armors description
also, all the edge lords are also using the wrath helmet, with all black armor and black visor (maybe red secondary)

It doesn’t mention Naomi anywhere in the description, and it would not make any sense to not make a remake of Six’s set. Unless you can direct me to other proof, or a certain part of the description that implies it, i don’t believe you. Keep in mind i’m not a lore fanatic so if the description does say something and i just don’t get it, that’s why.

> Well yea, duh. It has a skull so of course these edge kings are gonna flock to it. I think the reason they use Mark 6 is because they think if they wear Chief’s armor, they might become cool like him. (probably not but who knows?)

seems to be both Mark V and Mark VII. I say based off Naomi’s armor because she is the only spartan with Mark VII, which just happens to have similar design elements to the Mark V , but not an exact duplicate.

In the concept art depicting Kilo-Five (and on the book covers), Naomi’s armor is essentially 100% visually identical to the standard Mark V , same as Noble 6’s. I get that she wears Mark VII, which presumably means it functions differently than V , but as far as we know, the two look the same on the outside, canonically.</strong></strong>

I hope there will be 3 starting armor variants plus 5 early unlocks:
- Chiefs new armor ( Gen3 ALPHA ) (name idea), Recruit gen3, warrior gen3
- Air assault, CQC, Classic Pilot, Defender, Gen3 BETA ( basicly mk5b)
