Last night I had been playing MCC. I played 4 matches in a row in different playlists. Each match in a different game, which were Halo 2 Classic, Halo 3, Halo 4, and then finally Halo 2 Anniversary.
I’m fully aware I’m playing on peer-to-peer connection, but I have to explain why this is an awful thing. And before I explain, never have I encountered any movement lag, or placement issues. Everything except how I use my weapons and grenades are not effected in any way. But let’s continue.
Every match resulted in the same problems. My shots weren’t registering, it would take me most of, or ALL of my BR clip to kill a single person, or not kill them at all.
Grenades I throw wouldn’t come out until a second or two later. Frustrating as hell considering grenades are ESSENTIAL to any halo game.
However the moment that got me to stop playing Halo for the night, was my last match on H2A. I had grabbed the rocket launcher on Shrine and fired it under the arch of the walkways leading to the center building… Thing. However, the rocket never came out of the launcher, so I did what anyone in my position should. I ran for cover as my shield was gone from my failed attempt at shooting a rocket at someone.
While I was sitting back and letting my shield recharge, the game decided that NOW would be an excellent time to fire this rocket he tried to fire 5 seconds ago. The rocket hit the wall next to me and ended my life and I RAGED.
My K/D has never been a focus of mine, but I’ve always been able to keep at least 2000+ more kills than deaths. But MCC has my deaths higher than my kills.
Has anything this horrible happened to any of you?
But in all seriousness I have the same problems with not registering shots, grenades coming out 2 seconds after I throw them, etc…etc…
For some reason only in h2a though, h3 and ce games work flawlessly for me at least

Haha, I know how you feel. I was raging hard today.
Then I noticed Titanfall was 75% off, bought it, and had a fantastic rage-free time playing it. You can even choose which dedicated servers you want to connect to, and it shows the ping for each region.
Agree. I’m not a great Halo player, but I’ve always held a positive k/d ratio throughout the Halo history. It’s frustrating to unload a complete mag of br ammo into someone and watch them walk right through it to kill me all because my shots aren’t registering. The current state of the matchmaking makes me feel like I’ve never played Halo before and it’s not a pleasant experience.

And it even show you how many peoples are playing on specific game mode! How cool is that???
