Out of the very few matchmaking games I find, almost all of them are incredibly laggy.
In halo ce, halo 2, halo 2A and Halo 3 I have the same problem. It takes me so long to kill other people and they kill me easy as pie.
I shoot someone 12 times in the head with a pistol without missing a single shot and none of them register! and then he turns around and pow pow pow dead. That’s fair.
Also apparently 32 assault rifle bullets at close range only make someones shield flicker twice.
All types of bullets and grenades don’t register 70% of the time
The game definitely prioritizes some people’s perspective over others. It’s really not fun because it means you constantly have a disadvantage and if you are playing against people at the same or higher skill than you. (I don’t mean rank) then you’re screwed.
Much the same. I’m not the greatest player but I know when I’ve at least taken someone’s shield down. The games I played last night led me to think that I’m officially the most rubbish player ever which could very well be true but I doubt it. It’s as though most of my shots simply weren’t registering or simply way too late. So yes is a bit rubbish and I still don’t know what possessed the folks at 343 to release in this state
This was posted about multiple times before. Frankie stated on Neogaf that the game has a p2p fallback in case of server issues. Right now we tend to be getting the p2p games since everything else is dysfunctional.
p2p backup is probably getting used more than they’ll admit.
If it feels like H4, well, there is a reason.
But the MCC had to drop before Black Friday, so they could sell Xboxs. And someone in Marketing probably said they needed to be two weeks before Black Friday, because that gave them time to market.
And 343 probably -Yoink- their pants.

Thank you for clearing that up, I was unaware Frankie posted that. I’m sort of glad I know its p2p now, because if that amount of lag was on dedicated servers I’d be extremely worried
No you see the dedicated servers they were talking about are you and your friends Xbox one. Of course that wasn’t made clear but I mean the lucky part is the matchmaking doesn’t work so see problem solved! 
And the cold hard truth is that the servers are still more dedicated than 343.
