dedicated servers? why not MS???

i love the new multiplayer footage. if i could only play this on a decent way with dedicated servers. Where is my monthly fee MS, filling your pockets???

I’m pretty sure that MS doesn’t dole out the revenue from Gold subscriptions to all of its first party developers. That would leave old Billy Gates with naught but an insignificant corner of the revenue pie. And, even if they did do this, the amount needed to satisfy the budget for dedicated servers would be much more than whatever percentage of this supposed revenue-share they would actually receive.

And I guarantee that even the raging Halo fans on here wouldn’t be willing to accept “dat monthly fee” if it came down to 343 needing to charge it for DS.

If you have good netcode servers become pointless. We’ll have to wait and see if it is as good as 343 say

netcode means nothing when you´re on europe and playing on a host from usa, wich is happening lot of times in reach. i guess the poor population has to do with it but i want to play halo4 more than 2 months.

quality is not cheap, and remember we pay a fee just to play online. just to play halo in my case. i think it´s a legit complain.

But I’m pretty sure none of that money goes directly to 343 and if it does it’s not enough for DS.

i know, that´s why i asked for them to MS not 343i. cmon it´s halo, xbox live will be quite different without it.
