is there any way to know whether you are connected to dedicated servers or p2p matchmaking ?
whilst in the lobby and in game there should be something on screen so you know how you are connected in game be it dedi server or p2p.
Dedicated servers are offline anyway i assume ?
They won’t give an easy way to check because that would be even more embarrassing for them.

Couldn’t agree more. Of all the issues the MCC has, this is what pisses me off the most. They even lie to our faces and say that the dedicated servers have been up and running ever since day 1. Well… either that or their dedicated servers are complete garbage.
They were definitely working for the H5 beta.

Titanfall did it right. Right on the main menu you can see what data center you can connect to, and what is the ping.
It honestly feels like P2P to me when I play. They promised dedicated servers to everyone when they demoed the game at Comic Con. It was part of the reason I wanted the game so bad. Idk what they are using but it is awful.

So true, 343 need to hang their heads in shame!! Even the halo 5 beta would dump me in to more out of region games than games in my region.
This “beta” for the patch better have a choose the datacenter option… And halo 5, well we shouldn’t even need to ask.
I played four games the other night, three were p2p, and one was out of region…
Game is a joke.
The fact that they PATCHED OUT the colored connection bars from the game in a patch tells you all you need to know.
They are terrified of transparency when it comes to servers. As far as I can tell they took the servers offline with the last patch.
This company is something else man. Snake oil salesmen is the vibe I get. They should not be given Halo 6. Some other company needs to take over.
I wish I could get dedicated servers all the time and wouldn’t be penalized and have to play P2P because someone else has a crappy connection. That’s not my fault.

Yeah dedi’s are niiice. I’m usually on them and it’s soooo smooth.
