I think 343i needs to make dedicated servers. This Player to Player crap isn’t cutting it and Halo shouldn’t be PtP and who pulls host.

With all of the money Microsoft pumps into this franchise, you would think that they would have no problem putting dedicated servers in the game.
If Gears of War can have dedicated servers, so can Halo.

Its not called Player to Player, Its called Peer to Peer (P2P). Lately, I’ve been getting into matches where It constantly lags or my shots are never registering. It isn’t my connection because my other games just works fine. My Router runs DD-WRT and practically my Network is optimized. So I can’t blame on my connection. Dedicated servers are a must for Online Multiplayer these days.
C’mon Microsoft, since your making money from your stupid Xbox LIVE Gold Membership, how about you treat us with some dedicated servers, especially since this is YOUR Franchise?
Ive heard arguments in the past from people explaining the difficulties of dedicated servers and what people generally do not understand about them. They dont work for games with a massive community because of the amount of dedicated servers you would need it would be largely impractical and expensive.
But since Halo doesnt have a vast population anymore I dont really see a reason why they shouldn’t have dedicated servers. It’ll just make the online experience better (connection wise that is).

Yep. Happened last night and the night before that. So bad that in one game, I never got a single kill (I usually get 10 to 15 per game). The game setup servers are also acting bizzare too - with people dropping out sporadically in our team - who I was chatting with.

had some -Yoink- bragging how much better he was during gameplay. trust me I know all my shots weren’t registering because 8/10 I was getting the jump on the player and in other games would have got the kill. it was so frustrating
I just want dedicated servers so I can join custom games.
