Dedicated Server Regions

Regarding the Halo 5 Dedicated Servers, which regions will be receiving a Dedicated Server (US, Europe, Asia etc)?

If anyone can provide me a list or a link to where the regions have been cited that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

All the servers I listed above are currently been used for Halo 5, it’s just a matter of luck for people in non-US regions to be connected locally and not be put with Americans.

they just released an update on this

Weird, cause I’ve been playing it since then and have not been prompted for any such update…

Oh yeaaaaaaaah. A dedicated servers in São Paulo, Brazil. I will have no problems with connection. Can´t say the same for my friend in other states. The country is huge.

Im from Spain and get USA players a lot… T.T

Look how many dedicated servers they got. Well ,as long as internet connection is, let´s say, 50 mbs, i don´t think most players will experience problems. Japanese players will dominate with their 1gps connection tough…

Please, add the possibility to select region server.

it really does suck transition, hopefully it gets fixed soon. facing euro and -Yoink!- players on what seems to be a US server is getting old quick, when your from NZ

Everything to do with servers sucks, I strongly believe that if 343 had the proper time and people to do what is right for the community they could make the server selection good. I’ll use Battlefield 3 as an example:

I join the web UI (which is the same as been on halo’s main menu) find a match using the built in filter tool to narrow down games between 10ms and 100ms, this ping tool is essentially what halo uses but to an extent is broken. Now if I were a developer I would test this network tool from all over the world and not just the USA because there is no way of finding the error occurring between foreigners been put on US or even EU and Asia.

Now if 343 look at the simple option which most have already requested is to implement a region selection similar to that of what Titanfall uses. It give’s players the ease of securing a Local Server game and also not having to worry about match times cause of the game trying to raise the ping limit every time players can’t be found.
